All you need to know about the recent PlayFi buzz

The world of crypto is many things, but it is never dull. New crypto, technology, concepts, and events are a daily occurrence, so it's easy to get lost or overwhelmed. PlayFi may have buzzed under some radars, and it would be a shame to miss out on its potential. PlayFi is exploding in popularity, making 70.000 transactions in one week, which is not bad for an upcoming crypto platform. And PlayFi is that and much more.

All you need to know about the recent PlayFi buzz 1

1. What are Genesis nodes?

Each crypto tech has its foundation, and PlayFi's core lies at its Genesis nodes. The technology of Genesis nodes lies in four modules. These four modules are the Zero Knowledge, Storage, Coordination, and AI modules. PlayFi’s nodes rely on PlayFi protocol, consisting of these four nodes, making PlayFi the first AI-powered blockchain data network on the market. It's always beneficial to keep one ear on the ground and watch for upcoming and promising crypto coins and tech to get into.

Early backers and investors can beat the competition by investing in one of the top presale cryptos to choose from, offering unique abilities to buy at a discount or get special promotions, according to Kane Pepi. In the crypto world, it's always the early bird that gets the worm. For those interested in following PlayFi, it's worth getting into the official PlayFi Discord servers, which can triple the initial airdrop boost of 2500 points all Genesis node runners will get.

Another boost that the Genesis node operators will get is that they will receive an equal amount of $Play tokens for the amount they spend on Genesis nodes. PlayFi aims to compile new and groundbreaking crypto tech with awesome bonuses for its early backers, making it a pioneer in many aspects.

2. Web3-enhanced live content

Web3 is the future of crypto and online content, where PlayFi embraces its potential. PlayFi features are built up on Web3 and live content. In this unlikely fusion, PlayFi’s protocols aim to provide a unique feature, in connecting collecting content and realizing data. Streamers are, at the moment, limited by the available technology and platforms on where they make content. But, PlayFi aims to change all of that by empowering content creators and their studios to merge PlayFi’s blockchain primitives in their content.

That means enhancing all gaming content, including gaming on crypto gambling sites, online games, pte crypto games, or crypto games in general. Whenever a streamer wishes to enhance their experience, they can use PlayFi’s AI models to get information from their content instantaneously, that is in real-time, validate it, and store it for later use. PlayFi is not alone in this endeavor, as it has secured partnerships with big names in the Web3 ecosystem, but we'll go into this next.

3. PlayFi’s Cooperations

Cooperations show that a prospect has potential as success attracts, and PlayFi has head turning. Namely, big names in the web3 landscape have partnered up with PlayFi, including Aethir, Polygon, and MultiversX. Aethir is best known for its features of redistributing GPU resources, and the collaboration makes sense since PlayFi aims to redistribute how data is collected, stored, and shared. To build something as complex as a Web3 feature as a single streamer and process the data collected from mass markets, a system needs methods like PlayFi and Aethir provide, and the partnership is a natural outcome.

Symbiotic relationships between companies reduce competition, and both can benefit by investing in technologies that can be applied both ways. The AI module in the Genesis node is similar to Aethirs AI clients which operate on the best AI chips available and scale to support all users in the cloud gaming environment. Aethir works on a GPS-as-a-Service, leveraging processing power via a cloud infrastructure, and we can see several similar methods in PlayFi’s model. But even the best technology available can remain on the shelf if no one's heard about it, and that's where Polygon comes into play. PlayFi’s partnership with Polygon will come in the form of exclusivity. Special nodes will be pre-sold on the Polygon PoS Network, debuting PlayFi’s market entrance.

Early backers will get the tier one pricing right away, and the backing will help PlayFi’s data processing for all their games on the web2 (until transition) and web3 games. This will also make PlayFi the first zkSync hyperchain in the AggLayer, marking another pioneering achievement for the rising star. Last, but not least, MultiversX will provide the non-EVM chain for PlayFi. The groundwork for many of PlayFi’s technologies will rely on MultiversX smart accounts, assets, independent chains, and networks, forming the basis of PlayFi’s operations.

Plenty of talks were about enhancing the gameplay experience for both gamers and streamers, but some concrete aspects of this collaboration can be seen in the improvements in the digital assets marketplace, esports tournaments, P2P competitions, and market predictions.

4. $PLAY token

PlayFi’s entire operation lies on its $PLAY token, as many other crypto technologies do. As the name indicates, the $PLAY token is connected to and a necessary aspect of the PlayChain, PlayBase, and PlayFi Protocol. And that is not the end of the list, as the $PLAY token also serves as the native gas token, powering the PlayChain, containing all the data related to the PlayFi on its blockchain. The token will also serve as a security layer for the modular nodes on the network, protecting all Proof-of-Stake running beneath and increasing user security.

As the main token operating in the ecosystem, the $PLAY token flow will look like this. All users who wish to use any dApp creators on the network will have to pay for those services using $PLAY tokens. dApp owners will use the $PLAY token to access data held by Oracles, and Oracless will use the token to access data, completing the chain. This economic loop is also one of the fundamental functions of the $PLAY token, ensuring a long-lasting and healthy ecosystem.

5. PlayFi games

There's been plenty of talk about PlayFi's goal of enhancing streaming and gaming, but PlayFi also has several available games to add to the mix. MURK, CryptoBall, and Oahu Nights are already available to avid gamers to try out and earn rewards while playing. The easiest one to explain is the CryptoBall, where if you like the 80s aesthetics of a retro pinball machine, this is the perfect game for you. While playing pinball, you can also earn some crypto rewards.

Oahu Nights is a bit more ambitious, as it is played on a giant island made in Unreal Engine 5, where players are free to explore and play in an open-world sandbox. MURK is for those who love third-person action shooters, where the objective is to win in gun matches against other players in a much smaller but interactive environment, compared to Oahu Nights. Three games may not sound like much, but they are a good start to what the PlayFi wishes to be and serve as a viable proof-of-concept.

PlayFi serves as a perfect example of the versatility crypto technology possesses. By finding a thriving industry like streaming, PlayFi aims to enhance its core aspects, filling a niche others have ignored and establishing itself as a leading brand. With the upcoming sales, promotions, and campaigns, 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for PlayFi.
