CrossFi Releases 2025 Survey Report on Global Crypto Adoption and Web3 Banking
US, San Francisco: CrossFi has published its 2025 Crypto Market Research Survey, offering insights into cryptocurrency usage, adoption patterns, and user concerns across a diverse global participant base. The study focused on demographics, financial behavior, and attitudes toward Web3 banking, highlighting key trends that inform the future of digital financial services. Respondents were primarily from India, Finland, and Russia, with 80% identifying as female and 20% as male. The majority fall within the 28 to 43 age group, and most reported monthly incomes ranging between $1,000 and $3,000.
The report found that investing in or holding cryptocurrencies is the dominant source of income among participants, indicating a trend toward long-term asset appreciation. In terms of usage, most respondents reported engaging with cryptocurrencies one to two times per week, suggesting gradual integration into routine financial activities. However, high transaction fees remain a significant barrier to wider adoption, cited as the top challenge by users globally.
When examining Web3 banking services, the survey found that safety and reliability are the most valued features. Despite this, most users reported only being “somewhat satisfied” with their current Web3 banking experiences. The main advantages highlighted by respondents included increased safety due to decentralization, while common pain points involved frozen accounts and difficulties with KYC procedures.
Looking ahead, users expressed a clear demand for more ways to use cryptocurrencies in daily life. The prevailing prediction for 2025 is that cryptocurrencies will be used as seamlessly as traditional fiat currencies. At the same time, safety and cybersecurity were identified as the primary concerns among respondents, reinforcing the need for enhanced security measures in the evolving digital financial landscape.
