Crypto Casinos And Betting Sites Are On The Rise

Even though crypto has been in a steep bear market for some time, many enthusiasts and believers still navigate the crypto space in their usual fashion. More and more adoption is taking place by the minute and there have been crypto casinos popping up here and there all across the web.

Online gambling has seen a sharp increase in interest in the last couple of years. This coinciding with the last crypto bull run meant that some people saw the opportunity of combining crypto currencies and casinos. But is it best to find your nfl predictions and bet with a traditional gambling company or turn to a crypto casino? Lack of regulation

Cryptocurrencies are, atleast at the time of writing this article, completely unregulated. This enables many of the key factors of what makes cryptocurrencies special. As you’re most likely aware of, this can lead to scams running rampant.

Scams and casinos do not go hand in hand. Even though there are several crypto exchanges today that are completely legit and some are even listed on the stock market, these crypto casinos exist in an extremely gray space without any government oversight. There are some crypto casinos in Europe that are regulated, but these can be hard to access depending on where you live.

Lack of regulation can lead to customers being treated unfairly.

This lack of regulation at casinos makes it extremely easy to run various scams and to tweak the odds in the casinos favor. If you do decide to gamble at one of these casinos you need to be extremely diligent in your research and make sure that the company you’re gambling with is reputable and trustable.

Traditional gambling companies are a better bet.

All in all, you’re most likely better off turning to a traditional casino or betting site if you’re interested in gambling. Full scale adoption of crypto is something that is near and dear to many of us, but the risk of being scammed or something going wrong is simply too high when there is crypto on the line. It’s extremely likely that we’re going to see a casino or betting site completely catered to crypto sometime in the near future, but with added government oversight. Crypto might be best suited without authorities prying, but casinos need to be regulated for the safety of the consumer.
