C-Patex Review
What is C-Patex?
C-Patex is an exchange from Argentina that launched in November 2014 and offers trading in a decent number of cryptocurrencies. Sure, you won’t find any of the new ICO-tokens here but at least all of the biggest cryptocurrencies are represented.
Trading Volume
On the date of last updating this review (2 December 2021), the trading volume was USD 240.50, according to Coinmarketcap. Such a low trading volume is an indicator of a lack of liquidity and a very low number of active users. With that in mind, we would urge our readers to be careful when opening a new account with this exchange.
US-investors
To the best of our knowledge, the exchange allows US-investors. As a US-investor though, you should always analyze any obstacles arising from your residency or citizenship yourself.
C-Patex Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at C-Patex:
C-Patex Fees
C-Patex Trading fees
Trading fees are extremely important. The fee levels might seem insignificant at a first glance but in the long run they can add up to substantial amounts.
This trading platform charges the same fees for both takers and makers. We call this fee model a "flat fee model". Both takers and makers pay 0.20% here. This is quite in line with the global industry average.
C-Patex Withdrawal fees
As for withdrawal fees, we have not been able to find them anywhere at this exchange. This is potentially a risk for you as an investor (if they are not informed of anywhere we believe there is a higher risk that they are high). Accordingly, we strongly urge you to make your own analysis of the withdrawal fees at this exchange before depositing any funds here and before concluding that it is the best cryptocurrency exchange site for you.
Deposit Methods
There are a lot of fiat currency deposit methods available here, however, only for the fiat currency ARS (Argentine peso). This exchange does not support the fiat currencies USD and EUR. This exchange is thus an “entry-level exchange”, but only for holders of ARS.
