Coinvertit is an exchange based in Romania. The  company Cointessa.com Ltd owns the exchange. The exchange is quite new (launched in 2018) and might fill a void on the Romanian cryptocurrency market especially after the oldest Romanian cryptocurrency exchange BTCxChange closed shop on 1 May 2018.

This trading platform is only available to residents of the European Union. Accordingly, all other investors may not trade on the exchange. So if you are a non-EU oinvestor and want to trade at Coinvertit, you’ll have to reconsider your choice of trading venue and choose one of the other top crypto exchanges. Don’t be too sad though, there are many other venues that offer the type of trading this exchange does. Use our Exchange Finder to find out where to trade crypto.

Coinvertit declares on its website that they have six strong advantages that are reasons for a new investor to choose their trading platform ahead of any other platform. They say that it is: easy to use, flexible and customizable, that it has easy mobile support, it has quick exchange rate updates, it has the “best rates in the market” and – last but not least – they have online chat support from 09:00-17:00 (EET). We’ll leave it up to you to decide how convincing these six aspects are to you.

Coinvertit Six Things

Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. At this exchange, there is less information in the same screen than there is in many other exchanges. The set-up here makes it easily understandable for new crypto investors, while it might lack some features that more experienced traders look for. The below is a picture of the purchase interface at Coinvertit:

The fees at any exchange are very important to consider.

This cryptocurrency trading platform is different from most top crypto exchanges in the way that it does not offer trading between investors on the exchange. The only service offered is buying and selling BTC from and to Coinvertit itself. When buying or selling BTC from the exchange, the purchase price or selling price offered by Coinvertit is slightly higher/lower than the market price and the exchange profits that way. The mark-up or mark-down is not specified anywhere.

However, on the date of last updating this review (29 May 2020), we did a test where we compared Coinvertit's prices , to the current market price as presented by Coinmarketcap, and learned that the mark-up or mark-down was approx. 0.50%. Accordingly, we have listed 0.50% as the trading fees here. They also charge a small 0.00005 BTC purchase fee from each buyer and a 10 EUR sellers' fee from each seller when selling BTC here.

These fees are actually very low, considering the form of service the exchange offers (being a crypto-store more than a crypto trading platform).

Withdrawal fees are usually fixed and vary from crypto-to-crypto. If you withdraw BTC, you pay a small amount of BTC for the withdrawal. If you withdraw ETH, you pay ETH. The last time we did an empirical study of the BTC-withdrawal fees in the crypto exchange market, we found that the average BTC-withdrawal fee was approx. 0.0006 BTC per BTC-withdrawal. Coinvertit charges 0.0005 BTC per BTC-withdrawal, which is slightly below the global industry average. Accordingly, their withdrawals fees are definitely competitive enough.

This Romanian exchange accepts deposits through wire transfer, but not through credit cards. Wire transfers are possible through national bank transfers (in Romania) and through SEPA-transfer (in the rest of the EU). We have not found any information on deposit fees. This usually means that there are no deposit fees but you can never be absolutely certain.
