CryTrEx Review
CryTrEx is an exchange registered in Italy. There aren’t many exchanges at all from Italy, and the most famous one is unfortunately famous for becoming a disaster (Bitgrail). But let’s look at CryTrEx!
We have not been able to find any information that US-investors are prohibited from trading at this trading platform. However, if you are a US-investor, you should still always analyse whether your home state imposes any obstacles for your foreign cryptocurrency trading. Sometimes the exchange has opened its doors in spite of your own state prohibiting you from trading.
We have not been able to find any trading volume data either. But the exchange states on its website that it reached 15,000 users on 5 January 2019, so that’s always something.
CryTrEx Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen crypto and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. CryTrEx doesn’t really have a trading view per se, it’s more like a purchase interface. It looks like this:
The above interface makes it easy to understand, while it might lack some of the features that more experienced traders require.
CryTrEx Fees
CryTrEx Trading fees
Trading fees are naturally very important. Every time you place an order, the exchange charges you a trading fee. The trading fee is normally a percentage of the value of the trade order. At this exchange, they don’t divide between takers and makers. Each party to a transaction pay the same fee: 0.10% of the order value. 0.10% is below the industry average. Industry average has for a long time been 0.25%, but we are currently seeing a shift towards lower fees. Many exchanges now charge e.g. 0.10% or 0.15% instead.
CryTrEx Withdrawal fees
CryTrEx charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.0006 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This is somewhat below the global industry average BTC-withdrawal fee, being 0.000812 BTC.
All in all, both the trading fees and withdrawal fees at CryTrEx are slightly below the industry averages, which is great.
Deposit Methods
This exchange accepts credit card deposits, so it actually qualifies as an “entry-level exchange”. Wire transfers are however not possible. If you need to find an exchange where wire transfer is also an available deposit method, you can do so by using our Exchange Finder tool.
