Diamante—the Next-gen Quantum Resilient Hybrid Layer-1 Solution

Diamante is a solution to existing sticking points in a variety of industries such as payments, healthcare, crypto, gaming, human resources, banking, etc. As the world’s first layer-1, hybrid blockchain network, Diamante introduces a ton of innovative features capable of permanently eliminating lingering problems in these sectors.

How? Scroll down to find out.

First, Diamante is a hybrid blockchain—it is a combination of both public and private blockchains. It guarantees that third-party developers can run dApps and a variety of institutional applications on the network seamlessly. It doesn't end there; this feature makes Diamante easily customizable—it can be tweaked to meet certain industry needs or requirements. Diamante's hybrid nature also allows for the easy flow of liquidity from multiple chains in just one click.

Secondly, Diamante is quantum resilient. This refers to algorithmic codes or networks that are resistant to malicious actions or hacks from quantum computers. The feature allows Diamante to remain secure even when attacked by high-end computer programs, making it an ideal network for the present and future.

Finally, this layer-1 blockchain network offers lightning-fast transactions as a solution to the global settlement problem. It is currently capable of processing up to a whopping 100 thousand transactions per second (TPS). This is a feat that has never been achieved before now.

Impressive, don't you think so?

That's not all though; there's still more to learn about this next-gen layer-1 blockchain solution. Keep scrolling.

Key Properties of Diamante

Triple Consensus Layer

One of the most exciting properties of Diamante is the merger of three consensus algorithms. It combines the Proof-of-Stake (PoS), Proof-of-History (PoH), and the Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (ABFT) consensus mechanisms.

Why? Check the next paragraph.

While the PoS mechanism requires nodes to stake a percentage of their funds on the network to prevent malicious actions, the PoH leverages a Verifiable Delay Function to assign unique timestamps and also show that they were generated within a specific period. ABFT, on the other hand, allows honest nodes to unanimously agree on the order and timing of transactions safely. This three-way merger guarantees that Diamante achieves maximum levels of security, scalability, and cross-chain compatibility.

ED25519 Signature Scheme

What is ED25519? It is a cryptographic public key algorithm deployed mainly for digital verifications. Diamante integrates this system because it is a lot more secure than the DSA and RSA systems. With ED25519, the layer-1 blockchain becomes resistant to pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) failures, making it a more secure network.

The Diamante team further incorporates SDKs and Auror API to form a strong foundation that is not only 100% resistant to failures but also equally affordable, accessible, and with real-world use cases.

Quick digest: SDK means software development kit used to build software while the Auror API is Amazon’s new service that greatly improves database interactions by enabling SQL (standard language query—a programming language used to manage data) execution through HTTPS.

Maximum Security

This is the bedrock of this network. It prioritizes security as it should and has introduced a put in place several measures. The triple-layer consensus mechanism is one way Diamante maintains security, but that's not all.

The fault tolerance system that allows for continuous operations despite the failure of a few nodes is another security feature. Diamante also ensures that two nodes cannot disagree on values and eliminates misbehaving nodes from processing blocks. These key properties all contribute to making Diamante a super secure blockchain network.

The Sync-Bridge is yet another key property of Diamante that's both unique and impressive. It enables networks to build and bridge smart contracts, further allowing seamless interaction between chains. Technically, it enables interoperability on the network.

Benefits of Diamante

Now that you've learned what makes up this layer-1 blockchain network, we must share how these properties translate into benefits for you as the end user.

  • High efficiency; Diamante delivers lightning-fast transaction processing speed cost-effectively.

  • Developer-centric tools; the SDKs, Sync-Bridge, Auror API, relevant documentation, and other necessary resources make Diamante a developer-friendly network. There are not many layer-1 blockchains that are as supportive to developers as this one.

  • Security: we cannot talk enough about this. Diamante provides maximum security through the Diamante Consensus Protocol and the overall architecture. It is resistant to almost all forms of malicious attacks.

Diamante averages a transaction speed of 1-4 seconds with a total of 126+ validators and over 1.2 million wallets created. It is truly a next-generation layer-1 blockchain solution.

What key feature of this network stands out for you? We’d love to know.
