Biteeu Review
What is Biteeu?
The company running the Biteeu exchange was founded in 2019 in Estonia by people with solid experience in the banking sector and the stock market. It is a fully licensed and compliant centralized cryptocurrency exchange in the European Union. The following two licenses are the ones held by Biteeu:
– Providing a virtual currency wallet service (FRK000660), issued by the Police and Border Guard Board in Estonia.
– Providing services of exchanging a virtual currency against a fiat currency (FVR000760), issued by the Police and Border Guard Board in Estonia.
Bittrex Technology
Biteeu’s platform relies on Bittrex technology. In collaboration with Bittrex, the platform uses its “advanced technology to offer our customers safe, reliable and comfortable trading experience”.
Collaboration with SpaceChain
Biteeu enhances the safety of your assets and data by collaborating with an open-source blockchain-focused company SpaceChain to back up clientele and operational data on Company’s satellites in space.
Support Function
As for the support, the platform offers it 24/7. This is of course very helpful to the traders at the platform, seeing as crypto trading is global in its nature and time zones can be a great problem if the support function is not available 24 hours a day. The platform supports many languages, such as English, Russian and Chinese.
US-investors
US-investors can’t trade here. This is primarily due to regulatory reasons. If you are a US-investor, don’t despair! You can find the best exchange for you by using our Exchange Finder or using the filters in our Exchange List. Check it out.
Mobile Support
If you would like to do your trading while on your phone, Biteeu makes this possible. You can download the Biteeu app from both Google Play and App Store. Most people prefer to do their crypto trading on their desktop, but don’t let anyone else tell you what to do.
Biteeu Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself see which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen crypto and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can see that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at Biteeu:
Biteeu Fees
Biteeu Trading fees
This particular venue for crypto trading charges different fees between takers and makers. Takers pay 0.10%, whereas makers only have to pay 0.08%. Accordingly, makers receive a discount on the trading fees with 20%.
Both 0.10% for takers and 0.08% for makers are competitive rates. Globally, the average fee for trading is around 0.10-0.15%.
Biteeu Withdrawal fees
This trading platform charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.000625 BTC when withdrawing BTC. This is quite exactly on point with industry average.
The only empirical study over withdrawal fee averages that has been made, that we know of, is the one we have made. That study showed that the global industry average BTC-withdrawal fee for exchanges charging fixed fees was slightly above 0.0006 BTC per BTC-withdrawal.
