BTC-Alpha Review
BTC-Alpha is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in the United Kingdom.
United Kingdom is the country which without a doubt has the most cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. At least that we know of.
BTC-Alpha Trading View
Different exchanges have different trading views. And there is no “this overview is the best”-view. You should yourself determine which trading view that suits you the best. What the views normally have in common is that they all show the order book or at least part of the order book, a price chart of the chosen cryptocurrency and order history. They normally also have buy and sell-boxes. Before you choose an exchange, try to have a look at the trading view so that you can ascertain that it feels right to you. The below is a picture of the trading view at BTC-Alpha:
BTC-Alpha Fees
BTC-Alpha Trading fees
As you surely know, there are a number of top crypto exchanges that do not charge different fees between takers and makers. Usually, you say that such exchanges’ trading fees are “flat”. This exchange offers a flat trading fee of 0.20%. The exchange does accordingly not care about whether you are a taker or a maker. For investors who prefer to pick-up existing orders from the order book, this might be an attractive trading fee model.
The flat trading fee of 0.20% is in line with the industry average which can be argued to be around 0.25%.
As many other exchanges, BTC-Alpha also offers a reduced trading fee for traders that have executed trades at the exchange over a certain level. The relevant levels are listed in the following table:
BTC-Alpha Withdrawal fees
This trading platform charges a withdrawal fee amounting to 0.0005 BTC when you withdraw BTC. This is below the global industry average. The global industry average BTC-withdrawal fee according to this empirical study was 0.00057 BTC per BTC-withdrawal.
Deposit Methods

Deposits of cryptocurrency are possible in the same way as is customary for cryptocurrency exchanges (i.e. directly from cryptocurrency wallets).
