UPDATE 26 February 2019: QuickBT closed down its operations on 10 December 2018. They released the following message to the public:
To find a reliable exchange where you can start an account, just use our Exchange Filters and we'll help you find the right platform for you.
QuickBT Review
QuickBT is a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange. As a Canadian exchange, this trading platform faces tough competition on its home turf, especially from the up and coming LinkCoin.
US-investors may not trade on this exchange. So if you are a US-investor and want to trade at QuickBT, tough luck. Don’t be too sad though, there are many other venues that offer the type of trading this exchange does. Use our Exchange Finder to find out which alternatives you have.
QuickBT Fees
QuickBT Trading fees
We have not been able to find this exchange’s trading fees. This is potentially a risk for you as an investor (if the exchange does not inform of the fees anywhere, we believe there is a higher risk that they are high). Accordingly, we strongly urge you to make your own analysis of the trading fees at this exchange before depositing any funds here and before concluding that it is the best cryptocurrency exchange site for you.
QuickBT Withdrawal fees
Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any information on this exchange’s withdrawal fees either.
Taken together, the absence of information on the trading fees and the withdrawal fees is a BIG red flag. Apply extreme caution before trading at QuickBT.
Deposit Methods
At this trading platform, you can deposit through both wire transfer and credit cards. This can be helpful especially for newer crypto investors. However, the maximum daily deposit limit is CAD 200. The exchange claims that this limit is to prevent against fraud. This seems very odd to us. This was another “raised eyebrow” on our part.
To conclude, we see absolutely no reason whatsoever why you should buy or sell cryptocurrencies at QuickBT. Stay away!
