On Sunday, the API3 team announced via X that API3 will no longer support the QRNG service. QRNG began as a free service to promote first-party Oracle solutions and allow developers to build onchain products with data served straight from the source.

The team added that they are ending QRNG to focus on driving the growth and adoption of their next-generation oracle solutions built around recapturing protocol MEV with OEV Network, which is expected to have a lasting impact on DeFi.

API3 is a data oracle that enables APIs to feed data to blockchain applications directly without third-party middlemen. API3 is trading at $1.386, down 2.5% in the last 24 hours.
