Elon Musk refutes claims of discussing cryptocurrency policies with Donald Trump, asserting no such conversations have taken place.

Bloomberg recently reported that former President Donald Trump had offered Elon Musk an advisory role on cryptocurrency policies if he wins the upcoming election. Additionally, Trump allegedly sought Musk's advice on the economy and immigration and invited him to speak at an upcoming Republican convention.

According to a source familiar with the matter, discussions about the specifics of the position are ongoing, although Trump’s team has declined to comment.

The report suggested that Trump’s outreach to Musk was a strategic move to attract crypto-savvy voters. It implied that Musk and Trump have been in frequent communication, particularly given Musk’s criticism of President Joe Biden’s administration and his occasional support for Trump.

Elon Musk Denies the Report

Elon Musk, however, refuted Bloomberg’s claims. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he’s “pretty sure” he never discussed cryptocurrencies with Trump.

Musk, who has 185.3 million followers on X, stated that he supports initiatives that shift power from the government to the people, aligning with the fundamental ethos of cryptocurrency. He also took a subtle jab at traditional media, suggesting they often fabricate news via X, formerly Twitter.
