Football star Cristiano Ronald has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Binance to launch his first NFT collection.

Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of an NFT collection with football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a blog post on Tuesday, Binance said the CR7 NFT collection would be available exclusively on Binance NFT. The crypto exchange added that it would be the first of a series of drops featuring the football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

Binance pointed out that Ronaldo has undoubtedly redefined the game of football as we know it, his legacy — trophies and awards, mind-bending goals, personal and team records — touching every aspect of the sport. Now, the five-time Ballon D’or winner has his eyes set on the NFT arena.

Binance and Ronaldo announced a multi-year partnership agreement earlier this year. The crypto exchange said they have been working closely with Ronaldo to craft a first-of-its-kind experience, one that will change the NFT game forever. Binance said;

“Starting this week, you’ll get a sneak peek at what we’ve been working on, and more surprises on what’s coming next.  Make sure to follow us on Twitter for all the latest updates.”

The CR7 collection includes seven animated collectibles with four rarity levels —Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal. The NFTs will be released on November 18, and each NFT collectible will feature an iconic scene from Ronaldo’s life, from his career-defining bicycle kicks through his early years in Portugal.

Binance said there would be unique benefits associated with each rarity level. Some of the NFTs will include a personal message from Cristiano Ronaldo, autographed CR7 & Binance merchandise, guaranteed access to all future CR7 NFT drops, complimentary CR7 mystery boxes, and VIP entry into giveaways with signed merchandise & prizes.

Binance concluded that the NFTs would be given to the highest bidder after the 24-hour auction.

Binance’s continued expansion and more positive Binance reviews ensure that the cryptocurrency exchange further cements its place as the world’s leading digital asset trading platform.
