On Monday, Aave Labs announced via X that it has added support for RLUSD, Ripple’s enterprise-grade stablecoin. Thanks to this support, users can now supply and borrow RLUSD on the Aave V3 Ethereum Core market. Supply cap has been set at 50,000,000, while the borrow cap is set at 5,000,000.
Aave protocol is a decentralized, open-source, and non-custodial money market protocol. Depositors earn interest by providing liquidity to lending pools, while borrowers can obtain overcollateralized loans by using the liquidity from these pools. AAVE is trading at $143.36 per token, down 1% in the last 24 hours.
Ripple is a privately held company that is building a payment and exchange network (RippleNet) on top of a distributed ledger database (XRP Ledger). The main goal of Ripple is to connect banks, payment providers, and digital asset exchanges, enabling faster and cost-efficient global payments. XRP is down 2% in the last 24 hours and now trades at $2.0792.
