On Thursday, the Injective team announced via a blog post that Agora has launched the first USD stablecoin on the Injective blockchain. Backed by VanEck and custodied by State Street, Agora’s fully collateralized U.S. digital dollar, AUSD, offers users one of the industry’s foremost stable assets to facilitate efficient transactions between Injective and primary markets.

The stablecoin provides users with an easy way to acquire, trade, sell, and more without additional bridging or compatibility impediments. Upon integration, AUSD will be widely available across the Injective ecosystem to build toward a vision of creating a more secure and inclusive financial system.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $19.06, down 3% in the last 24 hours.
