The Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post on Monday that has launched several new payment channels across Africa.

The Alchemy Pay team announced via a blog post on Monday that has launched several new payment channels across Africa. This strategic expansion is designed to give African users greater access and convenience in purchasing cryptocurrency using their local currencies and localized payment methods.

Thanks to its expansion, users in 9 African countries can now utilize their local fiat currencies to purchase crypto via local bank transfers. The supported countries and corresponding currencies are as follows: Botswana (BWP), Cameroon (XAF), Kenya (KES), Malawi (MWK), Nigeria (NGN), Rwanda (RWF), Tanzania (TZS), Uganda (UGX), Zambia (ZMW).

By enabling local bank transfers, users can now purchase crypto with ease, leveraging the local financial infrastructure they are already familiar with.

Alchemy Pay is a payment system focused on retail transactions at the point of sale and peer-to-peer remittance. Users can make payments in fiat, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies on traditional payment systems. Alchemy Pay’s ACH token is up by 3% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $0.02261.
