The Near Protocol announced via a blog post on Wednesday that Allstake has launched on the NEAR blockchain. Allstake is the first meshed restaking protocol that brings restaking to all chains. By decoupling consensus and execution, Allstake enables trustless scaling, offering enhanced scalability, security, and decentralization.

Allstake builds a “verifiable cloud” for the broader crypto landscape, enabling users to natively restake a wide range of assets (LSTs, LRTs, LP tokens, stablecoins, etc.) on multiple chains, including NEAR, Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ton, and more.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees. NEAR is trading at $5.669, down by 1% in the last 24 hours.
