On Tuesday, Chainlink announced via X that Astar Network has adopted the Chainlink standard to support the development of highly secure cross-chain applications. Chainlink CCIP is now available on Astar Network, securely connecting Astar Network to the multi-chain ecosystem.

This step is crucial for Astar Network's expansion into Soneium and the Superchain ecosystem. It also allows protocols to bring liquidity through Astar Network and develop next-gen cross-chain applications.

Additionally, CCIP will be pivotal in Astar Evolution 1.5, serving as the cross-chain infrastructure to support ASTR’s canonical expansion into Soneium.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 3% over the past 24 hours, trading at $14.55.
