The Axie Infinity team announced via Twitter on Monday that it would roll out three updates on its Origin game before the end of the week. The team said it would reset the leaderboard, remove bots from the matchmaking system at high ranks, and the star system for high ranks will be tweaked to ensure that rank is a more accurate representation of skill.

Axie Infinity is a Pokémon-inspired digital pet universe built on the Ethereum blockchain where anyone can earn token rewards through skilled gameplay and contributions to the ecosystem.

AXS, the native token of the Axie Infinity ecosystem, is down by less than 2% today and currently trades at $42.75
