Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that Babypie is leveraging five products from the industry-standard Chainlink platform. Chainlink Functions is now live on the Babypie mainnet, with Automation, CCIP, Price Feeds, and Proof of Reserve being integrated soon.
These integrations bring enhanced functionality, security, and transparency to Babypie’s BTC liquid-staking product, mBTC, a liquid-staked version of BTC that enables users to access rewards while maintaining liquidity.
Babypie is a top-tier SubDAO launched by Magpie that concentrates on liquid staking services for BTC using Babylon. As a liquid staking platform for Bitcoin, Babypie allows users to stake their Bitcoin as mBTC.
Chainlink CCIP will enable secure cross-chain transfers of their mBTC token across prominent networks such as Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain. Chainlink Price Feeds will support secure and reliable markets for our mBTC/BTC pair. Chainlink Functions is helping verify user signatures and BTC transactions.
Chainlink Automation will help streamline the process of updating redemption rates for mBTC, improving efficiency and ensuring consistency and accuracy in our operations.
Finally, Chainlink Proof of Reserve will enhance Babypie’s mBTC token’s transparency by providing onchain data verifying that mBTC is fully backed and collateralized by BTC.
Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down by 2% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $13.33 at press time.
