Bakkt Partners With Manasquan Bank To Offer Crypto Trading Services

New Jersey-based Manasquan Bank will allow its customers trade cryptocurrencies using its mobile app starting next year

Digital asset marketplace Bakkt Holdings, Inc. partnered with New Jersey-based mutual community bank Manasquan Bank yesterday. According to the details of the partnership, Manasquan Bank customers can now buy, sell and hold cryptocurrency via the bank’s mobile app once the service launches next year.

Sheela Zemlin, chief revenue officer at Bakkt, said “This is an incredible opportunity to provide Manasquan Bank clients with an entry point to adopt cryptocurrency as an additional asset option. Bakkt is proud to roll out new and innovative ways to this burgeoning economy, enabling a path to buy, sell and hold crypto as an extension of the consumer’s relationship with their trusted local bank.”

Bitcoin is down by 0.72% so far today and is trading above $48k per coin.
