Bitget has relaunched its crypto trading platform in the UK after meeting FCA regulatory requirements.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has marked its return to the United Kingdom market by relaunching its trading platform following a comprehensive compliance update aligned with local regulatory requirements.

The platform's revival comes after a strategic pause initiated in May 2024, when Bitget temporarily restricted its UK services to adapt to the country's Financial Promotions regime. During this interim period, the exchange focused on recalibrating its operations to meet regulatory standards.

"Bitget has been monitoring the new Financial Promotions regime and decided to temporarily suspend accepting new customers until we have recalibrated our UK website to ensure we comply with the new regime," explained a Bitget representative.

The exchange's return to the UK market has been facilitated through a partnership with Archax, an FCA-authorized reviewer of financial promotions. Bitget elaborated on this collaboration, stating, "Archax is an independent Financial Promotions and Marketing reviewer authorized by the FCA to review content to ensure it is compliant with FCA Financial Promotions requirements."

This strategic move demonstrates Bitget's commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance while serving the UK cryptocurrency market. The successful relaunch underscores the exchange's adaptability in meeting evolving regulatory standards while ensuring continued service to British crypto enthusiasts.
