The BitTorrent team announced via X on Tuesday that it has completed the BTFS Storage Reward halving.

The BitTorrent team announced via X on Tuesday that it has completed the BTFS Storage Reward halving. Thanks to this latest development, the the storage rewards on BTFS were halved to 7.5 billion BTT daily. BTFS will optimize the reward strategy to attract more nodes and enhance network scale and transaction efficiency.

The BitTorrent token is a TRC-10 token on the Tron blockchain. The BTT token intends to build a token-based economy for networking, bandwidth, and storage resources on the existing BitTorrent network. BTTC is trading at $0.00000088 at press time, up by 2% in the last 24 hours.
