The BitTorrent team announced via X on Wednesday that the BTFS V3.0 (Heisenberg) is now live. This updated version introduces several innovative features designed to enhance network security, user experience, and operational efficiency.
The new version now supports symmetric encryption, catering to users’ diverse security needs. It also supports batch withdrawals across multiple nodes, significantly streamlining the process for miners and boosting efficiency. Furthermore, the network connection has been extensively overhauled to ensure more stable and efficient data transmission.
The BitTorrent token is a TRC-10 token on the Tron blockchain. The BTT token intends to build a token-based economy for networking, bandwidth, and storage resources on the existing BitTorrent network. BTTC is trading at $0.00000088 at press time, down by 1% in the last 24 hours.
