On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that $BTCN, Corn's native gas token, and $CORN have adopted the OFT Standard.

On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that $BTCN, Corn's native gas token, and $CORN have adopted the OFT Standard. Thanks to LayerZero’s architecture, cross-chain transfers from Ethereum to Corn are processed in seconds, giving users nearly instant access to any asset you bridge to Corn.

With this adoption, applications from 90+ LayerZero-supported chains can expand to Corn. Furthermore, applications on Corn can request and compute data across different chains and block history using lzRead.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $6.177 down 1.5% in the last 24 hours.
