Chainlink announced via Twitter on Tuesday that CACHE Gold, a DeFi protocol supporting a fully backed, redeemable, and regulated tokenized gold asset, has integrated Chainlink Proof of Reserve on Polygon mainnet.

CACHE Gold said the integration enables its users to verify on-chain that cross-chain CACHE Gold tokens (CGT) on Polygon are fully backed 1:1 by CGT tokens on Ethereum.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by less than 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7.216 at press time.
