The Celer Network announced via X on Monday that they have added support for ORDI, the native token of the Ordinals ecosystem. ORDI is the first BRC-20 token Celer Network supports as it completes its plan to support BRC-20 token bridging between BTC Network and EVM Chains.

Thanks to this support, users can now bridge $ORDI across the BTC Network and Arbitrum One using cBridge.

Celer Network is an interoperability platform that supports cross-chain fund transfers and generic message passing. CELR, the native token of Celer Network, is up by 3% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.01442.

The Ordinals protocol, launched in January 2023, allows users to inscribe data on satoshis – the smallest units of bitcoin – with each such inscription called an Ordinal. The inscribed data can include smart contracts, enabling the satoshis to carry NFT-like functionalities. ORDI is up by 10% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $37.80.
