Chainlink announced via X on Tuesday that Linea has integrated the industry-standard Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Linea is leveraging CCIP to enable developers to build secure, feature-rich cross-chain applications and expand the multi-chain ecosystem.

Linea selected CCIP as their interoperability solution due to Chainlink’s exceptional track record in security and reliability. CCIP is uniquely distinguished as the only interoperability solution with level-5 cross-chain security. Additionally, it is supported by the Risk Management Network, an independent network that rigorously monitors and verifies cross-chain activities for suspicious behavior.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 3% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $10.78 at press time.
