South Korean gaming giant Com2uS has launched its 'Walking Dead' and 'Summoner's War' games on the Oasys network.

Com2uS Group, a prominent South Korean game publisher, has announced the launch of its layer-2 chain called XPLA Verse, along with a pair of prominent titles in major franchises on the Oasys crypto gaming ecosystem.

While announcing this latest development today, May 30th, Com2uS said XPLA Verse is now the home of Summoners War: Chronicles. This is an action role-playing game derived from the popular game Summoners War: Sky Arena, which has over 220 million downloads. XPLA Verse also hosts The Walking Dead: All-Stars, based on the zombie comic book series.

Com2uS is a leading South Korean gaming company and has recently expanded its Web3 strategy. The company participated in the Oasys ecosystem as an initial validator last year.

In February this year, the company also announced that it intends to launch its existing XPLA crypto gaming ecosystem on Oasys, starting with these two major games. While commenting on this latest development, the company said,

"Com2uS and XPLA aim to leverage Oasys' deep knowledge of Japan's regulatory framework to strengthen their market presence and onboard more East Asian users."

Oasys has become home to several game publishers and developers, including Ubisoft. Ubisoft is building its first original blockchain game, Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, on the Oasys Network for release later this year.

Another leading game publisher, Sega has also launched its IP to the network, while Bandai Namco has incorporated an experimental AI-driven game in 2023.
