Crypto Compliance Veteran Martin C. Grant Joins Binance.US Board

Martin C. Grant, previously the main person for Compliance & Ethics at the New York Federal Reserve Bank, now joins BAM Management US Holdings, Inc.'s Board of Directors. This company is the parent of Binance.US – a major crypto platform in America that has put increasing resources into compliance. With more than thirty years working with regulations and making sure laws are followed, he will help Binance.US focus on compliance and watch over how they report money matters and manage their internal checks.

Binance is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, as measured by daily trading volume. They frequently earn licensing from top regulators around the world. This is a major step forward in securing even more trust in this respected crypto brand. Read more in our full Binance review

Grant, who worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York between 1990 and 2022 as Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, created and looked after different initiatives related to stopping money laundering activities, enforcing sanctions rules, evaluating risks among others. While he was working there, he built good connections with many people in the U.S. government and central banks around the world. Grant also has a position as the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs and Integrity with JST Digital, which is an international company focused on financial services in the digital asset sector, alongside his job at Binance.US.

The news comes after Binance.US created its own board, similar to what the main company did. Gabriel Abed, who is the ambassador of Barbados in the United Arab Emirates, leads the seven-member board at Binance.US. This shows how widely they are spread across different countries and their involvement with rules and regulations.
