Gate.io Partners with Inter Milan

Gate.io, one of the leading crypto exchanges in the world, has entered into a partnership with FC Internazionale Milano (“Inter” or “Club”), the reigning champions of Serie A.

According to the crypto exchange, Gate.io will become Inter's Official Sleeves Partner starting in the 2024/2025 season. Gate.io’s logo will be displayed on the sleeves of the playing kits for both Men’s and Women’s teams and the Club’s U20 teams.

Gate.io added that the partnership focuses on boosting the fan experience and providing innovative services and engagements to the Club’s global fan base. The crypto exchange said fans should look forward to a range of exclusive content, joint-marketing activations, co-branded merchandise, and unique opportunities for fans to connect on and off the field.

While commenting on the partnership, Dr. Han Lin, the founder and CEO of Gate.io, said,

“We are thrilled to partner with Inter, a club with a rich history and a passionate fan base. This partnership aligns with our commitment to innovation and community engagement. We are excited to bring new and exciting experiences to Inter fans around the world, and to explore the many synergies between the worlds of football and digital assets.”

Alessandro Antonello, CEO of Corporate of Inter, also said,

“We are delighted to welcome Gate.io as our new Sleeve Partner for our prestigious jersey, which we are now delighted to complete. Thanks to this new agreement, Gate.io – which has over ten years' experience in the sector and shares our innovative spirit – will gain extensive visibility in all the competitions that we will participate in.”

This latest partnership doesn’t come as a surprise as more crypto companies partner with sporting institutions to increase their visibility. The now-defunct FTX, Binance, and Crypto.com are some crypto companies that adopted this advert model in the past.
