Gemini Gets Regulatory Approval in France
Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, has gained approval as a virtual asset services provider (VASP) in France.
In a statement on Wednesday, the company said it is gearing up to expand its services globally. The VASP license was issued by the French markets regulator Autorite des Marches Financiers.
Thanks to this latest development, Gemini will launch services for retail and institutional customers in France in the coming week. The Gemini platform in France will grant users access to 70 cryptocurrencies and Gemini's website, mobile app, Gemini eOTC and the ActiveTrader platform,

Gemini has been putting in the effort to expand its services in Europe and other parts of the world. The cryptocurrency exchange has been experiencing consistent monthly trading volume increases, recording a 26.4% surge in trading volume in December 2023 compared to the prior month.
