The Hedera team announced on Wednesday that some decentralized applications on Hedera that were built with legacy versions of the Hedera Javascript SDK (software development kit) are experiencing a temporary disruption. The team explained that a gRPC web proxy for earlier versions of the SDK points to a node that is currently experiencing downtime. Hedera added that its core engineers are working with the node operator to triage this issue and reconnect the node. In addition, the team is working towards a long-term fix to ensure this does not happen again.

Hedera Hashgraph is distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.0441 at press time, down by 1% over the last 24 hours.
