DWF Labs has awarded a $500k grant to the Solana-based meme project Barsik, dedicated to supporting cats welfare.

DWF Labs, a new-generation Web3 investor and crypto market maker, announced on Tuesday that it has awarded a $500,000 grant to $BARSIK, a blockchain project dedicated to supporting cats welfare. BARSIK (Hasbulla’s Cat) is a Solana-based meme coin.

While announcing this in an X post, DWF Labs stated that,

“We are proud to support $BARSIK, a meme that combines blockchain technology with a meaningful cause. This grant reflects our belief in driving innovation that impacts lives beyond the digital realm.”

This latest development comes a few months after DWF Labs led API3’s strategic funding round. API3 raised $4m in USDC in exchange for its treasury assets.

In October, DWF Labs revealed that its synthetic stablecoin would offer investors a 12% APY, making it one of the leading stablecoins in terms of APY. Meanwhile, DWF Labs’ BTC/ETH would yield 15% APY, Blue Chips (17%), and long-tail alts (19%).
