ElizaOS Now Supports Zilliqa Onchain Actions

On Wednesday, the Zilliqa team announced via a blog post that ElizaOS now supports the Zilliqa blockchain. The integration means that AI agents built using the ai16z Eliza framework can now interact with the Zilliqa blockchain.

The open-source project now includes a plugin for integrating blockchain capabilities into the ElizaOS ecosystem. The plugin uses the GOAT (Great Onchain Agent Toolkit) framework to support on-chain actions on the Zilliqa network.

Developers building on ElizaOS can now support Zilliqa transactions and applications alongside other major blockchain networks, creating an interoperable environment for diverse use cases.

The initial implementation equips Zilliqa’s AI agents, such as Avastallion and Tacocat, with the ability to execute fundamental blockchain operations, such as sending ZIL tokens and checking balances. Future iterations will extend this functionality to include plugins for DeFi protocols, trading, and portfolio management.

Zilliqa (ZIL) is one of the world’s first blockchains being built on a sharded architecture and features smart contracts written in the platform’s proprietary programming language: Scilla. ZIL is trading at $0.01832, up 1% in the last 24 hours.
