Elrond’s co-founder Lucian Mincu announced via Twitter that Elrond-go v.1.3.19.0 is now available. He stated that the new version comes with additional safety and security mechanisms and encouraged validators on the Elrond network to upgrade to the latest version.
Elrond is a high-throughput public blockchain focused on providing security, efficiency, scalability, and interoperability by employing two key elements: Adaptive State Sharding and a new Secure Proof of Stake ("SPoS") consensus mechanism.
EGLD is down by nearly 5% today and is trading at $148.83 at press time.
