On Tuesday, the Enjin team announced via X that it had completed the Enjin Bugis Upgrade (Matrixchain). This update introduces significant enhancements, boosting Matrixchain's speed by 100% by reducing block time from 12 seconds to 6 seconds.

Other upgrades include improved organization by allowing collections to be structured into token groups, seamless blockchain storage migrations without requiring downtime, collection and token owners can now set multiple beneficiaries for royalty distributions, and marketplace listings can be whitelisted for up to 10,000 addresses, with optional quantity controls for how much each address can purchase.

Finally, the upgrade allows sellers to set specific start times for their marketplace listings and enjoy up to 32 simultaneous unbonding events for more flexibility in ENJ staking.

Enjin Coin (ENJ) is an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency that is used to directly back the value of next-generation blockchain assets. It aims to become "the gold standard for digital assets." ENJ is up 5% so far today and is trading at $0.1005 at press time.
