Enjin Completes the Bugis Upgrade (Relaychain)

The Enjin team announced via X on Monday that the Bugis Upgrade (Relaychain) is now complete. This update introduces significant enhancements, boosting Matrixchain speed by 100% by reducing block time from 12 seconds to 6 seconds. Additionally, new features in the Marketplace pallet and various quality-of-life improvements will enhance the overall user experience.

This upgrade ensures Matrixchain’s block time is now reduced from 12s to 6s, making transactions and minting twice as fast. Marketplace listings can be whitelisted for up to 10,000 addresses, with optional quantity controls for how much each address can purchase.

The update also supports seamless blockchain storage migrations without requiring downtime and up to 32 simultaneous unbonding events for more flexibility in ENJ staking.

Enjin Coin (ENJ) is an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency that is used to directly back the value of next-generation blockchain assets. It aims to become "the gold standard for digital assets." ENJ is down by 9% so far today and is trading at $0.107 at press time.
