The Fantom Foundation announced via X on Thursday that it has officially rebranded to Sonic Labs.

The Fantom Foundation announced via X on Thursday that it has officially rebranded to Sonic Labs. The team has launched Sonic Labs across all platforms as they move towards the release of Sonic, the fastest EVM chain with a secure gateway to Ethereum.

The team will provide users, developers, stakers, and validators additional guidance on migrating to the new chain. They will also continue to support their current Opera chain as well.

Fantom is building a programmable platform on a directed acyclic-graph-based distributed ledger. Fantom’s FTM coin is down 1% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.4070.
