Farcana Goes Omnichain with LayerZero

On Thursday, the LayerZero team announced via X that Farcana, the multiplayer arena hero shooter, has integrated LayerZero and is taking its native token $FAR across chains. $FAR asset transfer and deployment to chains are facilitated through LayerZero's OFT Standard, a smart contract standard that allows teams to extend ERC-20 tokens to many chains at once.

Farcana chose to use LayerZero to go omnichain because it minimizes the risks of hacks and security breaches with its Ultra Light Node (ULN) framework, providing trustless communication between chains and reducing attack vectors.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $6.645, up 7.5% in the last 24 hours.
