FCHAIN Launches as an Avalanche Layer 1 to Power Faraway Gaming Ecosystem

On Wednesday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via a blog post that the F Foundation has launched FCHAIN, a new Avalanche-powered Layer 1 (L1) blockchain that will fuel Faraway’s growing gaming ecosystem.

On Wednesday, the Avalanche Foundation announced via a blog post that the F Foundation has launched FCHAIN, a new Avalanche-powered Layer 1 (L1) blockchain that will fuel Faraway’s growing gaming ecosystem.

The F Foundation wants to create a truly decentralized, purpose-built, gaming-focused blockchain fully enabled by Avalanche’s forthcoming largest network upgrade, Avalanche9000.

Faraway’s support of FCHAIN will include integration into its growing portfolio of games and incorporation of its set of creator, commerce, and developer tools. These tools consist of its Creator Suite, which powers Dookey Dash: Unclogged’s Creator Mode, its Developer Platform, which is leveraged by major game studios, and its Faraway Shop.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in an interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.AVAX is up 1% today and currently trades at $27.50 per coin.
