Finery Markets and Sage Capital Partner to Enhance Institutional Crypto Liquidity

Finery Markets has formed a strategic alliance with Sage Capital Management to improve liquidity access for institutional cryptocurrency traders, establishing new trading capabilities on its platform.

First Crypto ECN to Offer Triple Trading Methods

This advancement positions Finery Markets as the first cryptocurrency Electronic Communication Network (ECN) to support three distinct trading methodologies: Request for Quote (RFQ), order book, and quote streams. Through this integration, Sage Capital will function as a liquidity provider on the Finery Markets platform, utilizing the newly implemented "quote streams" trading method via the FIX protocol.

Institutional clients of Finery Markets will gain access to Sage Capital's comprehensive liquidity pools, which are sourced from multiple venues as well as its proprietary liquidity resources. This strategic move aims to enhance price efficiency and execution reliability for institutional traders operating within the digital asset ecosystem.

"The industry is witnessing remarkable growth with the emergence of prime brokerage, institutional custody solutions, and advanced trading infrastructure," noted Konstantin Shulga, CEO of Finery Markets. "Through our partnership with Sage Capital, we significantly contribute to this evolution by providing unparalleled and superior institutional-grade liquidity solutions."

GSR Achieves Regulatory Milestone in UK Crypto Trading

In a related development within the institutional crypto space, GSR recently secured regulatory approval from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate as a registered crypto asset business. This authorization enables GSR to provide crypto trading services to clients throughout the United Kingdom.

This achievement follows GSR's earlier regulatory success in Singapore, where the Monetary Authority of Singapore granted the company a major payment institution license, permitting over-the-counter trading and market-making services. The market maker initially received in-principal approval from MAS in September.

Founded in the United States in 2013, GSR offers comprehensive crypto services including OTC trading, derivatives, market making, and venture capital investments. The firm also maintains money service business licenses across multiple U.S. states.

Sage Capital's liquidity solutions will be accessible across all Finery Markets products, including FM Marketplace, FM Liquidity Match, and FM Whitelabel. Nathan Sage, CEO and Founder of Sage Capital Management, emphasized, "With this we allow Finery clients to seamlessly access our premium crypto liquidity with extremely tight spreads and consistent pricing 24/7 to help support and run their chosen business models."

Established in 2019, Finery Markets provides non-custodial ECN and trading SaaS solutions to institutional clients across 35 countries, serving more than 150 digital asset firms including brokers, hedge funds, OTC desks, and payment providers. Meanwhile, Sage Capital has been active in digital assets since 2015, specializing in liquidity solutions with risk management and customizable support.
