Gemini Hires a New CFO
Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has appointed a new chief financial officer (CFO) as it prepares for a possible initial public offering (IFO) before the end of the year.
The company hired Dan Chen as the CFO. Chen previously served as vice president of capital markets at Affirm.

While announcing his appointment, Chen stated that,
"Crypto is the most dynamic sector in finance, and Gemini is at the forefront of this revolution — making it simple and secure to engage on the digital asset frontier."
The new CFO will now work alongside Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss to help push Gemini to greater heights. This latest development comes following several reports that Gemini is looking to go public before the end of the year.
If the company proceeds with its plan, it will join a growing number of cryptocurrency companies looking to go public in the United States stock market. Some companies planning an IPO include Kraken, Blockchain.com, Circle, and Bullish.
