On Monday, the Immutable team announced via X that Gods Unchained is migrating to Immutable zkEVM. Gods Unchained is a trading card game by Immutable - one of the first games to adopt blockchain technology in 2020.
With the migration, new functionality may enable multiple NFT cards to be traded at once in a single transaction rather than sequentially, improving market trading experience, liquidity and fostering a healthier in-game economy.
By leveraging blockchain-based automation, the game can introduce more seamless gaming decentralization. New smart contract capabilities will also improve the user experience, simplifying previously complex systems and making interactions with the game more intuitive.
Immutable X is an L2 scaling solution for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Ethereum, with instant trading, massive scalability, and zero gas fees for minting and trading with shared security with the Ethereum mainnet. IMX is down 9.5% today, trading at $0.482 at press time.
