HBAR Foundation, the development team behind the Hedera blockchain, announced via a blog post on Monday that it has partnered with Stacks, Moonriver, and Iron Fish to join a devnet-phase pilot of Interchain Amplifier.
The service enables permissionless connectivity across major blockchain networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, EVM chains, IBC, Hedera (EVM compatible) and 64 more chains.
Interchain Amplifier, which is now available on Axelar devnet, is a smart-contract-based developer toolkit developed by Interop Labs for the Axelar network that makes new-chain integrations permissionless and easy. Amplifier will leverage the security guarantees of the Axelar network to quickly bootstrap new cross-chain paths, expanding use cases, liquidity and user base, the Foundation added.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.1166 at press time, down by 3% over the last 24 hours.
