Hedera Adopts Chainlink Standard for Cross-Chain Interoperability

On Tuesday, the Hedera team announced via a blog post that the Chainlink standard for cross-chain interoperability is live on the Hedera mainnet. Developers can now leverage the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to build highly secure apps that can transfer tokens, send messages, and initiate actions across the multi-chain economy.

Chainlink CCIP supports 46+ other blockchains, with more blockchain ecosystems regularly integrated. Secure blockchain interoperability enables users and liquidity to flow into Hedera and expand its thriving DeFi and tokenized RWA ecosystems.

Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.14413 at press time, down 6.5% over the last 24 hours.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 8.8% over the past 24 hours, trading at $10.60.
