On Thursday, the Hedera team announced via a blog post that it has launched the Hedera Developer Playground. It is an open-source browser-based app for developers to learn and experiment on the Hedera testnet without needing any local setup, developed in collaboration with Kabila.
This tool provides a user-friendly environment for developers of all experience levels, from seasoned Hedera veterans to Web2 developers eager to explore Web3. The Playground eliminates the hurdle of time-consuming local setups, allowing users to dive straight into coding with familiar languages like Java and JavaScript.
The open-source nature of the Playground also facilitates transparency and encourages contributions from the developer community.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.33081 at press time, up 3.5% over the last 24 hours.
