The Immutable team announced via X on Wednesday that it has partnered with MARBLEX to create the home of web3 gaming in South Korea. MARBLEX, a blockchain gaming platform, will migrate to Immutable zkEVM, bringing their core games to the network.
MARBLEX core dApps, games, and game tokens will be on Immutable zkEVM, powered by Polygon, which will be the home of all future games currently in the MARBLEX pipeline.
The second stage of the partnership will be the creation of the Ecosystem Boost Program, a grant program designed to onboard more games into the Immutable ecosystem in collaboration with MARBLEX.
With the equivalent of up to $20M planned, the program is designed to supercharge game development and attract new titles to the Immutable and MARBLEX ecosystems.
Immutable X is an L2 scaling solution for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Ethereum, with instant trading, massive scalability, and zero gas fees for minting and trading with shared security with the Ethereum mainnet. IMX is down by 1% today and is trading at $1.5529 at press time.
