Injective Submits a Proposal to Initiate the First Yearly Phase of INJ 3.0

On Thursday, the Injective team announced via X that it had submitted an official governance proposal to initiate the first yearly phase of INJ 3.0. This proposal, if approved, aims to reduce the token supply of $INJ dramatically. It could also make $INJ one of the most deflationary crypto assets.

Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain for building powerful DeFi applications. Injective uniquely provides plug-and-play financial infrastructure primitives, such as a high-performance on-chain decentralized exchange infrastructure, decentralized bridges, oracles, and a composable smart contract layer with CosmWasm. INJ is trading at $22.05, up 6% in the last 24 hours.
