Internet Computer’s speed surpasses 31.57 blocks per second

DFINITY Foundation, the team behind the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem, announced that ICP surpassed 31.57 blocks per second.

DFINITY Foundation, the team behind the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem, announced a few hours ago that Internet Computer surpassed 31.57 blocks per second. The team said the block speed is a metric that speaks to the speed of the blockchain.

The Internet Computer is a layer-1 protocol that is developed by the DFINITY Foundation and aims to become ‘a blockchain network that evolves the internet’. ICP is trading at $26.5, down by 3.5% in the last 24 hours.
